The 36th Annual meeting of the Iowa County Historical Society was held Oct 25, 2011. The highlight of the evening was Robert Grede. His talk focused on the Wisconsin 8th Regiment and his quest to find out more about his great great grandfather. What he learned was then woven into a delightful novel The Spur and the Sash.
